SPINERGY REVX ROKS XE 26“Nowadays it is still possible to find a pair of Spinergys - at least the 28“ four-spoke road version. But even if you manage to track down a pair there‘s a 50/50 chance they run untrue, the bearing cup in the freehub is worn out or the spoke edges are damaged.However, when it comes to the 26“ MTB version the air gets much thinner. Even more so when you are after a pair of the „RevX ROKS XE“ version sporting six paper-thin carbon spokes.Not sure about production numbers back then, but in the last decade I saw maybe 3 pairs and this is one of them.Even after all these years I can’t wrap my head around the insane construction concept bolting each spoke pair to the alloy rim using 4 tiny-winy M2(?) bolts - especially for MTB use! Hence, I would expect the common Spinergy flaws described above to be much higher on this model.Anyway, this pair is lovely, runs true and smooth and still got almost unused brake flanks.It‘s up for sale for EUR 650 + ship. by @nikeshox3000
