This is an interesting passage, that relates to the mark of the beast in Revelation, no doubt. But what I find interesting is the heart posture of those that receive the mark of God. Groaning and unrest, lamentation and true spiritual grief, which probably expressed itself in fervent prayer. Much like when the Hebrews were enslaved in Egypt and their groans reached God. A lot of parallels in our culture today to meditate on. by @nikfury28

Enjoyed meeting a great American author, Tim Barton. His works on American history should be taught in every school and lauded by every American family. by @nikfury28

We must fear the Lord and learn to number our days. What sort of man does not fear authority? What sort of child does not love their Father? What sort of people deny their maker and conjure up for themselves any sort of meaning to life? There are no examples of such a people that are truly righteous. by @nikfury28
