6 Years! You've been my constant companion through thick and thin. From being beneath a boulder to bearing the wrath of a 3-year-old. You were tested beyond your limits. We have lived lives most phones could only dream of. Rest easy, my friend. You have beyond earned it. And welcome Nothing 2. You have giant phone cases to fill 😅 And of course, I cannot thank my DoP, Editor and constant partner in shenanigans @notsoshubhlately enough for being crazy and patient enough to bring my first live-action reel to reality. #pixar #insideout #lgv30plus #nothing2 #newphone by @nikhilprathod
*Emotional (sorta??) post alert! You've been warned of the impending reactions if you choose to read any further.* When I came to Madrid, I was not looking for a lot. An opportunity to realise long pending dreams (some that possibly do and will remain in the same category), some change and maybe some self-discovery. Standard international student bullshit! Hence, a year went by in the blink of an eye (and the havoc caused by a pandemic and a rare snowstorm). So when I moved into the 5th house in Madrid at about the 1-year mark, I expected not a lot to change. This would be a house I stayed in while trying to shovel my way back into a career of some sort. When I did see the 'house', I thought that I'd be in love with the freedom and liberty the patio offered. I couldn't have been more wrong. I found that this place is not destined to be just another house that sheltered me, but a home that loved me cherished me and nurtured me. The people in this house are today, and forever MY PEOPLE. I have always struggled to find anyone that I could lay a similar claim on, and in one stroke this house and especially this kitchen gave me so many!!! And not just at home, but in the city too!!! As cheesy as it is to say this (well, I love cheese so) I feel that this house was meant to be for me. I love you guys. I might be leaving for now, but I promise. I'll do everything within my power to be back! Maybe not the same house, the same kitchen or the same street even, but Madrid, you and I are not done yet! by @nikhilprathod

“Redo it!” A declaration of failure? Or a part of the process?
The first thing to learn as a writer, as our guest explains in the latest episode, is that you’ll NEVER get it right in the first go. As they say, writing is all about re-writing. Words, and sometimes even their absence, are often the soul of a message, an idea or a story. Referred to as painting of the voice, good writing can make or mar any creative or artistic project. The same stays true for copywriting. And hence, today we cover the world of copywriting with Paul Anglin. As a copywriter, a tone of voice expert, founder and creative director of the award copywriting studio Craft Copywriting, and an educator, Paul has accrued a wealth of knowledge throughout his multiple years of experience. Not only do we uncover the life of a copywriter, but also some of the most interesting perks, challenges and trivia about working in the industry. Want to develop your copywriting skills? Don’t forget to check out Paul’s copywriting course on Domestika! https://www.domestika.org/en/courses/1620-copywriting-for-social-media/paulanglin Episode out now! Our efforts are usually measured based on the extent of the desired result achieved. Hence, it is of paramount importance to be clear about the aim behind anything we set out to do. Why should copywriting be any different? What does our next guest think is the aim of copywriting? Check it out! Our next episode covers a rather interesting area of the creatives industry. So much so that our guest has equated the practice to that of solving puzzles! The Talk was started with the idea of unveiling a little more about the creatives world. For both the enthusiast and the wishful aspirant. The aim was always to get on board the platform experts and superstar professionals from different vertices of the creative industries. Hence, while the first episode was dedicated to the world of video for both branded and non-branded content, the second was dedicated to the world of storytelling, specifically that of interactive storytelling. Which segment of the industry do you think we will uncover in the next episode? Comment your guesses below, and let's see how close you all get! Episodes 1 and 2 are out already! Link in bio.
