i always ask God & myself what am i supposed to be learning and what am i supposed to be teaching moments, sometimes frustratingly - like fam... didn’t i learn this already? or haven’t we(me & God) been through this before?

even while frustrated, there is something to nurture within self on sitting, be present, and creating in frustration. think about the “how” of things - how you respond, how you behave, how you show up, how you think...

so even though you may feel as though as you learned this lesson already - look at how you process it now, how you navigate it, how you bounce forward…

* there are levels to levels
* growth is insurmountable
* there’s always more grace to offer
* there’s always more mercy to extend
* and never forget just because it’s simple, doesn’t mean it’s easy 🤎

I’ve seen you do some of the most epic things… not just as a man, but as a father.

Through every obstacle, challenge, and season, you continue to show up with consistency, patience, love, and character. The way you lead, protect, teach, encourage, and provide is something to be admired.

Watching you navigate life and fatherhood with strength, grace, and integrity has been one of the greatest examples I’ve ever witnessed.

Adorned in gold and petals quietly displaying the holiness of fire.

happy birthday to my sister @mslotus_908 who God gifted me later in life. 🤎

you’ve been such a light in my life and i’m ♾️ grateful for you. from flying across the country to help me from start to finish for a cray-zee fashion show, to our random workouts, to the talks that feel like a breath of fresh air - you always show up with so much love and intention.

last year we captured the “birth of a lotus,” and that healed something in both of us.

this year, may life meet you with the harvest of a lotus field - abundance, softness, clarity, and everything that blooms from the work you put in.
