Meet Writer, Director, and Executive Producer Nikita T. Hamilton, @nikitathamilton

When was the last time a love story felt made for you? If you’ve been looking around at the state of the world — and the dating scene — and wondering where the hope went, this film is for you.

In the words of our writer/director: “It’s easy to look around at the state of the country, and the world, and to feel like hope has exited the building; that love isn’t in the room with us anymore. This short film offers an antidote to apathy by reimagining the love story for our current moment.” Now’s the moment to help us bring this story to life.

Clips from the final video in the Escape the Matrix series! I sit down with Sam and we share our thoughts on my 10 weeks of training along with what I learned (and am still learning).

Getting to work with Taylor and Sam over three months this summer was so rewarding and I gained knowledge about nutrition, training, and my own mindset that I didn’t see coming. I hope you’ve all found it even half as useful and I did. Thanks for being on this journey with me!

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me, endorsed me, and voted for me! You believed in my platform as much as I do, and I’m excited to get to work for all of the members of the WGAw!! by @nikitathamilton

Grenada Pt. 1

My cousin Stacey and I wanted a trip where no laptops were opened, no emails were checked, and we had one-on-one time. Happy to say we accomplished our goals thanks to the beautiful island of Grenada!

Cheers before leaving MIA 🥂

Wi reach!!

The view from our room *sigh*

Sean, our tour guide for Annandale Falls, describing our future rum punch encounter lol

Hug a tree, but especially a Rainbow Eucalyptus

Did you know the mace we spray for protection comes from nutmeg? I had no clue

Cilantro, mace, nutmeg

Learning about the parishes and flag of Grenada

Original lyrics for me and Stacey. Apparently, I look like a queen 😂

Rum punch time arrived!

The arrival time was early lol

Waterfall time! #annandalefalls

When your cousin could be in Sports Illustrated 😌

This is mostly me trying to make sure none of this water gets trapped behind one of my contacts. I’ve seen too many videos about that at this point 😩

🥰🥰🥰

Beach time!!

Two of your favorite doctors. Only one of us can save your life 😅

Float

I think Grand Anse is my new favorite beach ❤️

More coming! by @nikitathamilton

In Need of a Love Story isn’t just for us or only for our friends and families. It’s for the culture.

We not only need love stories, but also deserve them.

You can help us make our vision a reality in more than one way: donate to our Seed&Spark campaign, following us on IG and TikTok, and share this video with… well, everyone you know!

::grabs imaginary bull horn:: WGA Board Elections voting begins on September 2nd!

The WGA Women Board Candidates Party was a wonderful experience where we candidates not only had the chance to hear one another’s platforms, but also receive questions from fellow Guild members.

Thank you to my friends who came and supported me, and asked amazing questions! Thank you to Meredith Stiehm for hosting us! And, thank you x3 to Maria Elena Rodriguez and Amy-Joe for organizing such a wonderful event!!

I had the honor of being invited to the NAS’ Science and Entertainment Exchange’s Writers Retreat 2026. I got to meet so many amazing scientists from all over the country whose works span research areas I knew little to nothing about and it was incredibly inspiring. I was introduced to fellow writers whose resumes include shows and films I love, and we all had the opportunity to work together and create. I truly couldn’t’ve asked for a better experience. Thank you, thank you to @scientexchange, @thenasciences, and @templetonfoundation! by @nikitathamilton

My final session with @samantha_dirks as well as my solo workouts for the week. Can’t believe this series is coming to a close! Two videos left and that’s it!

Some clips from my 11th session with @taylorannebb15! I can’t believe we’re almost done working together 😩 Our topic this week is the “illusion of needs” and ways to notice if someone’s trying to sell you or really help you.
