POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I'm thrilled to announce my upcoming exhibition, To Have & To Haunt, with @luca.fine.art. This show feels different than anything I’ve created before. Woven with the complexity of emotion and the haunting beauty of what we hold onto and what we release.

To Have & To Haunt is a collection born out of love, loss and everything that lingers in between.

Opening this October in Atlanta — I can’t wait to share it with you. 🖤 by @nikizarrabi

30" x 40" | oil on canvas

I tried something new and ohhh what a learning curve it presented. I already know what to not do and what to tweak on the next go.
Framing was tough (something to keep experimenting with) and stretching the canvas was very much not a good time 💀, but otherwise I had a lot of fun experimenting with something different and I like how it came together!

What do you guys think? Liking this direction or it's getting a little cray? I promise my feelings won't get hurt 🫠🫶 by @nikizarrabi

A little late! Custom mural installation on canvas for @cortlandatbuckheadvillage from last month. What an incredible team to work with! @cortland_design

A 9'x11' canvas is no easy feat to transport or install
😵‍💫 So special thanks to @atlantaartsolutions for building, stretching, transporting and installing it. And to the team at @cortland_design for problem solving a way to hoist it up the side of the building to get into the space. 😅 by @nikizarrabi

We’re so excited to feature a custom interior mural by @nikizarrabi at @cortlandatbuckheadvillage. Before the mural, the expansive white wall did little to command attention and felt like a missed opportunity for something beyond standard finishes or generic art. Working collaboratively with this talented local artist, we created a true showstopping moment. At this scale, the mural commands the long, linear room — defining the space, adding movement, and creating a beautiful focal point that anchors it and draws you all the way through. by @nikizarrabi

New piece for group show "Feel the Love" on view now at @cat_eye_creative!

In the Land of Poetry , 20"x24", oil on canvas 🇮🇷🦁☀️

This work borrows the visual language of still life to speak on the women of Iran, whose bodies and freedoms are continually claimed by the state. The split pomegranate, traditionally a symbol of fertility and abundance, is seeded here not only with fruit but with pearls - objects of beauty and value placed within violence. They glimmer inside what reads as a quiet massacre: hands stained red, flesh wounded, softness marked by harm. The pearls become a stubborn insistence on beauty where beauty is denied. They offer a small, luminous refusal to let brutality be the final word. Created in solidarity with the uprisings, this piece holds hope that what has been broken open will not only expose cruelty, but also reveal an inextinguishable light and possibility of overthrowing a regime built on control in favor of dignity, autonomy, and liberation. by @nikizarrabi
