I’m still blown away by what this 4th trip to Australia has awakened within me: my divine feminine.
And hear me out- I know I might be dressed like a little boy here, but I can explain 😂

For most of my life, I’ve expressed more masculine in my appearance. But there was a time when it became unacceptable to “dress like a boy,” and I was forced to wear a lot of feminine clothes and colors that didn’t feel aligned.

When I finally broke free and embraced my masculine presentation fully, I ended up suppressing that feminine expression altogether.

✨Lady Elliot Island✨—the name suddenly becoming very ironic and loud, said, “No more, babe. Time to WAKE HER UP.”

I breathed life into a part of me I hadn’t in a long, long time. Suddenly I love the color pink??? I’ve bought several pink, purple, and orange pieces in the last two months.

On top of that, when I was a kid (up until maybe 7 or 8), I had bleach blonde hair. The island and ocean stripped most of the green from my hair, exposing the bleach underneath—and I decided it was time for a change. I stripped the rest of the green with the intention of dying it purple.

But when I saw the blonde... I fell in love.
At first I said, “Maybe I’ll just wait 2–3 weeks then put the purple in.”
Nope. Turned into a full-on 80s rock/punk mullet moment and I’m LIVING for it.

This has been healing for both my divine feminine and my inner child. Life has truly been a JOURNEY these past two months. A sparkly, messy, lovely, wild woman lil journey—and I’m beyond grateful for it.✨💛🫶🏻🌈🥰🥵

Nothing to prove

First show my mom ever let me come into the city for was SWS X ADTR in 2011, I started shooting shows later that year at my local all ages venue from there you can probably figure out the rest. I Love this life and my wonderful partner @evangelinekay who I’m so immensely proud of for sharing a stage with the members of @sleepingwithsirens
