Meet recap: Last week I had the honor of sharing the platform with some incredibly strong humans. The community in this sport is unmatched. In my last four meets, I’ve looked out into the crowd and didn’t recognize a single soul—and yeah, that part isn’t easy. But this platform doesn’t require familiarity, just respect. Every lifter, coach, and person in the room shows up to push you to be better.It’s a competition, and I step on the platform to win. But the support, intensity, and mutual respect in this sport are what make it special.Endless gratitude to my coach for pushing me past my limits and holding the standard high. Ever since I moved from PA 6 years ago, I always go home for a reason, so this time I went home for fun. I took some time to spend with my precious family and long lost friends. Blessed I was about to spend time in my favorite place with some of my favorite humans. Thankful to get both sides of my large family together. Powerlifting has a way of humbling you and lifting you all at once. This meet wasn’t the outcome I pictured, but it gave me so much more than numbers on a platform — new teammates, an incredible coach, and a renewed love for the grind. The powerlifting community is unmatched. I’m walking away stronger in more ways than one, and for that I’m grateful. Time to dial it in and prepare for the next. 4 unforgettable years with TSC ⚽💙From tiny feet just learning the game to young athletes chasing big dreams, coaching across all ages at Tennessee Soccer Club has been a journey I’ll never forget.I’ve had the privilege to mentor and be mentored—by players, coaches, and moments that pushed us all to grow. I’m beyond grateful for the opportunity to have coached with and against some of the finest coaches. These past four years taught me so much, and I’ve grown so much as a coach and person.
