I know I seem like a little social butterfly, but I actually struggle really hard with the desire to go back to being agoraphobic. I feel very awkward being out socially and I have horrible body image issues (especially with such massive weight fluctuations and severe medical issues). I have this horrible voice in my head that’s always telling me that I’m too fat and ugly to be out in public. Sometimes it’s hard. Sometimes I’m fighting back tears as I leave the house. Sometimes I feel like I’m going to panic as soon as I’m in anything other than an oversized tshirt. And I hate taking pictures. But I refuse to let that voice win. So I make myself walk out my front door and go to shows or events or games or dinners. Even if I want to cry. Even if my mind is screaming at me. I go and I surround myself with the people I know love me. My best friends, my family. Because I can’t do this on my own. And when I’m with them, I know I’m safe. So May actually kind of rocked. And I’m proud of myself for not letting that voice win. I have an amazing life with the most amazing people in it! And forever thank you to my most handsome and amazing husband @manimals_bliss for being with me every step of this crazy journey. And for letting me drag him all over the place to experience life! by @nikkimonney

ONE YEAR!!!! Somehow it’s felt like so so many more. Even though we’ve only known each other just over two years 🤣 the last year has been full of amazing adventures, concerts and musicals, so much good food, fur babies, and so so much love. It’s been so great getting to watch you grow into the man you are. Thank you for making sure I rarely have to do the dishes. And for taking Goose out when he gets up too early. Cancun last week with @manimals_bliss was a dream! We had the most gorgeous view (and bathrobes), we saw Chichen Itza, swam with dolphins and manatees, did ziplining and ATVs, Swam in various cenotes, golfed with an ocean view, spent my birthday getting massages and watching the most beautiful Cirque du Soleil ever (Dan became a very big part of the show!), and ate a lot of habanero salsa and delicious Mexican cuisine! Last night was another amazing night with my guys! @manimals_bliss the forever best hubby and @hannanotoninsta one of my longest besties! It was my first Super Bowl pre-party ever! @prubechusf made an amazing menu using @ortegataco products! And @brotegataco was an amazing host! We had the best time, the best food, and amazing drinks. We ate, we drank, we danced. It was so fun! Plus we have some amazing hot sauces and taco shells now! taken in Prubechu by @nikkimonney

One of the best nights of my life! Who knew that getting married could extend so beyond the wedding itself. One of the most amazing gifts we received was a night at Le Comptoir at Bar Crenn. When I was given a choice on Michelin restaurants to choose from, it took me all of 30 seconds to pick Bar Crenn. Dominique Crenn is an icon, a goddess, an inspiration to women in male dominated industries. And we got to meet her!!! The menu based on her life was perfection. The staff were amazing. Dan and I loved every moment. Thank you @avitalexperiences for the most amazing wedding gift ever! Thank you @barcrenn for being absolute perfection. Now that the crazy season is over, I get to spent a lot of my time in the kitchen again. It makes me so happy to cook and to see people happy while eating the food I make. 2025 was the year that changed me. After one of the hardest years of my life (2024), 2025 became a year of growth. Losses (losing Fitz was awful), new family, wins, good food, concerts (I even saw Metallica!-kind of 🤣), musicals, singing, a million popups and get togethers with @hannanotoninsta, doing leather stamping in Vegas for CES, lots of food events, growing as a business woman, time with family, getting to see my UK besties twice in the year, oh ya…WE GOT MARRIED, @manimals_bliss first time out of the country for our epic honeymoon. This year I learned to let go of pain, and I learned to take steps forward-all with the help of my family and friends. And a huge shout out to the husband who chose me, who grew for me, and who taught me what true love means. 2025 rocked. I am excited to see what 2026 has in store. Day 16…our final day of the honeymoon (tomorrow is a travel day) 😭😭 it was magical. It was the first day of snow in Zurich AND the first day of Christmas markets! We spent the whole day wandering the markets, buying souvenirs, eating delicious food, and making candles! Had one final Swiss priced sit-down dinner and saw two more churches! It was perfection! We will miss the Europe but have so many amazing memories (and magnets) to remember it by. We are excited to take these moments and extend them into our lives back home! Day 15 was another amazing one! We went back up to the alps today! But first we had a stop in Lucerne to see the gorgeous Jesuit church and feed some birds! Then Mt.Titlis and world’s highest walking suspension bridge! It was a little scary but so worth it! And then we had the most amazing time wandering the mall under the train station to gather picnic goodies for a yummy dinner in our room. I can’t believe tomorrow is the last full day! Day 14…we hopped on a train to Austria for the day and it was AMAZING! I touched so many old walls! We had lunch in a castle! I got the most gorgeous European hat. And we finally got bretzelkonig! Fell behind by a day! Honeymoon day 13. We had a late start and ate breakfast in bed.
