✨DisneySea… you were MAGICAL! 🏰🎢❄️

What an absolutely EPIC day!

From thrilling roller coasters and magical kingdoms to watching Luna’s little face light up at every turn… it really was a day we’ll never forget.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better… a chance encounter with Anna from Frozen, her absolute favourite! Cue one very starstruck little girl! ❄️💕

Nearly 12km walked on those tiny legs, fuelled by pure Disney magic, excitement and probably far too much sugar! 😂🍭

Exhausted parents, one very happy little girl and memories we’ll treasure forever.

Our first week living in Japan 🇯🇵

Ric and I first came to Japan about 15 years ago and completely fell in love with the culture, the people and the food. So finding ourselves actually living here for three months still feels slightly serial! 😂

Luna has settled into school brilliantly, even writing Japanese in her first week! ✏️🇯🇵 Watching her experience all of this for the first time is pretty special.

And the food… oh my god. 🍜🤤
The ramen, the sushi, the little local restaurants… even supermarket sushi is freshly made in front of you for about £2 😂

And Kamakura ⛩️ ancient temples, shrines and history around every corner. The birthplace of samurai culture, and somehow we’re now just casually walking past centuries of history on the school run.

We even caught our first glimpse of Mount Fuji… well, about 7% of it because the clouds were hiding the rest! 😂🗻

Even the rain hasn’t put us off. 🌧️

Now to get my head around 5 different recycling bins, the supermarket shop taking 3 hours due to translating everything and trying to say more than just “arigato” 🤣

One week in and we’re already completely enchanted.…Japan, I think we are going to like here ❤️

Heart filled to the brim with family and bestie time in the most beautiful bay in Australia 💛 starting the day off with sunrise beach walks and being back with the gang +2 is definitely good for my soul 🌟

3 beautiful weeks in Sydney with my beautiful fam 💛

Watching Luna and Lukas become the best of friends (most of the time) 🫣 was just magical… lots of lovely home cooked meals from Ads, 1 mums n dads meal out, 1 girls night out, too many bottles of wine to count, a few IPA’s, trips to Manly and Watsons Bay, a footie match, 4 amazing days Lukie sitting, sleepovers, movie nights, lots of steps, 1 lost and then found scooter, daily Yo Chi’s, a 1st birthday for Remy, and lots of family time = 1 very happy trip to Sydney 💛 taken in Sydney, Australia by @nikkiporteus

Luna recently closed the most beautiful chapter with our last Boundless Life Bali cohort, and our hearts are so full 🫶🏼

What makes this community so special isn’t just the incredible education or the thoughtfully curated experiences that bring learning to life, it’s the people, the laughter, the fun, the feeling that every child belongs, the most beautiful little friendships Luna has made with buddies from all over the world ✨

…It’s the teachers who love our little ones as if they were their own 💛 the care, patience, creativity, and endless adventures has given Luna memories she will treasure forever.

And a very special mention to Ella, @design_an_extraordinarylife who chose to spend her 10–12’s class project as a teaching assistant with the 4–5s. Your kindness, patience and love you gave our little ones was so genuine. Your farewell performance was one of the most moving moments of the last 3 cohorts, I still can’t watch it without tears…What a beautiful role model you are ❤️

We will continue onto our next Boundless cohort in Japan in September which is so exciting, but Bali is gonna be a hard one to beat 🌸

Happy Father’s Day to the three most important men in our lives:

- Blackburn Dave/Dad/Poppy who gave me my love of footie, IPA and his top bantz/dad jokes!! 🤩

- Brain/Dad/PopPops who gave us yodelling at 6am, his incredible artwork, and always ensures there’s an IPA in the fridge for me 🍺

- Ricardo/Hubster/Dada who gives us everything ✨

Happy 5th Birthday to our beautiful Luna 💛

How has it been five whole years already?

From those tiny newborn cuddles to the funny, kind, adventurous little / big girl you are today. You fill our world with love, laughter and magic, even when asking 47 questions in a row, never listening to me when I shout your name or somehow losing your shoes AGAIN!!! 🤣

This past year has been especially incredible. Moving to Bali was a big adventure, and we couldn’t be prouder of how you’ve embraced it. Watching you thrive, explore, and make wonderful friendships with children from all over the world has been so special to see.

You have the biggest heart, the brightest spirit, and a way of making friends wherever you go. We hope you never lose your curiosity, your sense of adventure, or your ability to turn every day into something magical.

It’s the greatest privilege of our lives to watch you grow. We love you to the Luna and back. ✨

Happy 5th Birthday…Keep shining, keep exploring, and always stay wonderfully you. ❤️

Last day with her beautiful January cohort at @boundlesslife Bali 💛

Such a special little group of friendships built through play, laughter, and so many shared moments. Although it’s bittersweet as some of these sweet friends she’ll see again, others she won’t, and that’s the gentle reality of growing up in a world schooling environment ✨

This cohort has been about so much more than learning, it’s been confidence building, independence, and so much joy in discovering the world around her. I’m so proud of the little person she’s becoming…brave, kind, curious, and full of life ✨

To the wonderful teachers, thank you for creating such a nurturing, magical space for our little ones to grow and flourish ✨

One more cohort left in magical Bali starting in April, I’m already feeling sad to be leaving (in 4 months) 💛 Bali you have our heart 💛

Happy New Year 2026 ✨

We wrapped up 2025 spending the day at an incredible animal rescue in Lombok, feeding the animals and even meeting this absolute diva of an orangutan 🧡

Then we rang in the new year in the best way possible: unreal views, delicious food, and cocktails, feet in the sand todo perfecto 🤩

New year, fresh vibes, a bit of reflecting, a whole lot of dreaming, and plenty of excitement for what’s ahead ✨
Whatever 2026 has in store, I already know it’ll be full of love, laughter, and a good dose of adventure 🫶🏼

It’s a wrap 🤩

Luna’s first @boundlesslife cohort in Bali, her introduction to #worldschooling, and really her first taste of school at all…and what an unforgettable chapter it’s been. From the moment we discovered Boundless Life, we knew we’d stumbled across something rare and extraordinary ✨

Luna has flourished under the care and creativity of the most incredible teachers and this beautiful programme. In just three months she’s lived experiences I could only have dreamed of for her. She’s built deep friendships with children from every corner of the world, explored new ideas with such joy, and even begun speaking a new language (Bahasa!) something I never expected to happen so naturally at her age.

But the part that has moved me the most is what this journey gave me. I’ve found a community of people who not only understand the way we think, but who have also chosen to live life with the same intention, curiosity, and openness. A group who made us feel at home from the very beginning.

I’m so grateful for the teachers who poured so much into Luna, thankful for the families who became friends, and proud beyond words of my little girl for embracing this adventure so wholeheartedly.

Just nipped over to Australia for a long weekend (haha when am I ever going to get the chance to say that again 💪🏼) 🇦🇺

Luna and I surprised @adamjacksonbooks for his birthday weekend 🍾🥂🎂 and to meet my new little nephew Remy 🩵

4 days full of family time, fun, laughter, catching up with old friends and meeting new, including Santa 🎅🏽 oh and a few scooners…but most importantly seeing Luna, Lukas and Remy become little besties (most of the time 🤭)
