POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

👋 Hello and welcome to NikkisArtyCreations!

I’m Nikki from Lancashire, UK, and I’m so pleased you’ve stopped by 🎨

I discovered colouring in March 2026 and quickly fell in love with experimenting with different books, styles and media.

I've no adult creativity, art or colouring experience at all, but I have a great curiosity to learn, try new things, and enjoy discovering this creative process✨

This Harry Potter page is one of my favourite pieces so far, created using watercolours, Prismacolors and gel pens 🪄

Although I’m starting with one of my favourite finished pages, my next posts will take you right back to where my colouring journey began in March 2026, including all my messy, out-of-the-lines, ‘oh gosh’ fun pages 🎉

By posting my journey from the very beginning, with all my faults, mistakes and fails, I want to encourage everyone whatever your skill level is, to believe that you are already enough and you don’t need to wait to publish your talents😍

Show the world your skills now and sparkle like the star you already are! 🌟

There is no perfection here, only kindness, love and respect 🫶

I hope you’ll enjoy following along as I share how my colouring began and how it develops over time🌸

Thank you for being here 💕

I’m looking forward to learning from you, sharing and becoming part of this wonderful colouring community

💛🧚💛🧚💛🧚💛🧚

Halloween treats

A deliciously spooky collection of Halloween treats packed with vibrant lollipops, ghostly cupcakes, iced doughnuts, and spooky sweets 🍩🍭🍬

Shading these bright neon colours against the dark background created a frightfully fun Halloween atmosphere 🎃👻

Captured the warmth of nature with these bright yellow American Goldfinches resting among vibrant orange Rudbeckias and a delicate Red Admiral butterfly 🐤🦋

I loved bringing this serene summer scene to life with soft pastels and rich colours 🌼

The chase of love ❤️

This gorgeous dragon page is so magical and full of romance 💕

I enjoyed thinking about how they were falling in love and chasing each other in a dance in the sky around their new jewelled castle home 💎

I used Ohuhu Acrylic and Metallic markers to enhance the majestic atmosphere ✨

A cosy rainy afternoon with this sweet little scene 🌂

Matchstick Mouse by Morgan O’Brien is looking rather cold so I coloured her using my Ohuhu alcohol markers and a little Languo Glitter Pens to create a warm, snug vibe after being out in the rain 🐭

In June, I spent some time colouring through this gorgeous page, adding rich jewel tones, shimmering accents, and vibrant rainbow details to the mane and feathers to bring this magical Pegasus to life 🧚✨

If you swipe along, I’ve included the front cover of this gorgeous book.

I stepped into the fairy tale world in June ✨

I coloured this preface page featuring some of our childhood favourites 🧚

I loved blending the soft pink sky with the bright green grass and flowers 🌸

Unfortunately, some of the colour differentiation is lost in the photo but it looks so sweet in real life and I can’t wait to be creative in this little beauty again 📖

A little splash of colour and a lot of imagination 🧌

I dove into a world of forest creatures and brought this troll to life. He looks ready to create some mischief 🥰
His bright eyes are definitely my favourite part 👀

This Chimera is so cute especially with the cheeky tongue poking out and the little lobster at the bottom 🥰

Over time, I’ve noticed the alcohol marker shading on many of my pages has started fading after only a few months.
The differentiation in the greens isn’t showing properly in the spiky plants at the bottom.

I finished this little guy way back in May and had a lot of fun mixing watercolours for the background, then using Ohuhu alcohol markers, acrylic markers, and gel pens for the rest.

I’m really pleased with how it turned out and especially love the colours I chose 🌊
