250+ syracuse residents came all out for Palestine 🇵🇸.
Israel created Hamas—a “counterbalance” to Marxists and seculars in the PLO, PLFP and Fatah—as Yitzhak Segev said.
-Beheaded babies and Gaza city’s destruction portrayed as Israel are just some of the confirmed lies that have come out in recent days to flip the narrative on the genocidal apartheid of Palestinians. Where children truly are butchered, however, are the now 1000+ Palestinian children killed in the last week and a half-since Al-Aqsa Flood, and in the 6-year old brutally stabbed to death this very morning in Chicago, Wadea Al-Fayoume, for the crime only of being born Palestinian and Muslim.
-the Palestinian coalitions’ armed resistance, logically, first reached the most boundary-pushing Israeli settler encroachments, settlements like those of the American frontier. The violence which some of the most reactionary factions of the Palestinian liberation movement then undertook have been atrocities for their civilian victims, their families, and the Jewish community.
-this should make any sensible person only that more sensitive to the plight of the Palestinian, caged, restricted by birth to that cage, bombed indiscriminately, brutalized daily by an occupying force in the IDF/IOF, murdered without repercussion by that same force and violent settlers who were radicalized by the far-right line of their government. The average age in Gaza is 18, half the population are children, because it is a genocide.
-lastly, Israel’s fascist occupation portrays the aesthetics of liberalism and progressivism in regards to its own population, yet simultaneously raze, slaughter, torture, suppress, and brutalize an ethnic indigenous minority in their own historic homeland. Indigeneity is not based on a fantasized imagination of a link to ancient peoples. Indigeneity is about the current and historically based people of a land, and their deep connection to said land, which greatly informs their culture.
