Question? During this transplant journey the words thoughtful and kind stands out so much clearer .. i realize I’m a natural giver (my mom was too) you can breathe like you need something I may give you something off my back right then. Takers will take all day and givers don’t take count of what we give so then it makes you be selective, I hate that but facts.

Do you consider yourself a giver? are you thoughtful by nature or you gotta think about it? Are you a kind person ? To strangers? Family, Seniors, people with disabilities, our doctors, receptionist, nurses, postal person, servers when deserving, public service individuals the list goes on and on. This new generation something else.

It pays to be thoughtful and kind, i truly believe it starts at home.. I found these pocket hugs and i give to those that I want to know I’m there with you but not in same capacity and I hope it makes them smile when you touch it or keep with you..

Gave one of my favorite nurses I met when got transplant and a year later we still see each other, I gave her a pocket hug during a hospital stay in june and saw her in august and she had it in her pocket she said “I take it to work everyday “

Ooohhh weee woke up with this on my mind this morning finally just called Hersheys Palace and he over here clowning with all the Chicago style favorites.. rib tips, chicken wings, crinkle seasoned fries, thin sausage pizza, catfish, Italian beef combo dipped well with hot/sweet peppers, mild sauce off the chain, coleslaw good too, flavored koolaid called mud (all the flavors) check him out in Arlington. Im full and satisfied.. of course couldn’t eat all this but he took me home!

Ps. A senior Caucasian man comes in orders catfish and collard greens and let me taste his lol he was in heaven. taken in Hershey Palace pizza wangs and thangs by @nikkthang

Afternoon.. what was your sermon on today? Mine was restoration and hidden pain whew chile!!

Short you know When you meet someone and find out the connections are deep then you just connect. So I did a soft yard sale 6 months ago and Yolanda Reaves dm me and offered to come help the day before, I accepted and found out she from Chicago was Chi-Town Chell Mba bestie RIP..
-she lives 10 minutes from me
-she shopped lol
-a thrifter
-a caterer and makes old school lunchroom butter cookies

So she knew my food language and Ive been on oxtails and i like the fatty part and they got to be tender. Asked her to make some extra as she was catering an event yesterday. Im bout to have the itis.. bday blessing —as they say “let me see what they hitting fo” thank you Yolonda..

Stop!! Put this on your calendar Thursday 6-8pm .. Knowledge is power. On a Serious note stop walking around with health
symptoms and ignoring them especially if you over 50.. join me and Steven White for a heart awareness pop up.
