Some things you don’t hold onto. You let them move through you and trust what’s meant to stay will stay.

There’s a difference between what’s yours to do and what’s yours to hold. You can act, choose and show up fully - that’s yours.
But outcomes, timing, other people’s choices - those were never actually within your grip to begin with.
The suffering comes from mistaking the second category for the first.

There’s a moment before letting go where everything softens - because you finally trusted the process enough to stop gripping it.
Surrender [to God, the Universe, the Higher Powers] isn’t losing control. It’s realizing what you were gripping was never actually yours to hold.
Fear wearing the shape of control is all it was.

Details matter.

For me, romanticizing the small details brings so much joy and helps me pay attention to myself. A beautiful comb or an antique pillbox for mints - everyday objects that nobody sees but me - always bring my attention back to the present moment, inviting me to be mindful and savour it. This is a great practice for self-appreciation, making ordinary moments feel intentional. by @nikolgrid
