This patient came in complaining of hip pain, but the correction was actually found farther down the chain at the knee.

The hip and knee are connected through the same bone, the femur. When the knee is not moving or aligning efficiently, it can change how forces travel through the femur and place additional stress on the hip.

In this video, I am performing a medial knee mobilization to improve the position and mechanics of the knee. By addressing the source of the mechanical restriction instead of only treating where the patient feels pain, we can improve how the entire limb moves and loads.
