🎸 COUNTRY MEETS THE BLUES IN DUBLIN 🤠

Two worlds. One stage. One very special night at The Grand Social.

On Wednesday, 7 October 2026, Dublin’s Blues Odyssey join forces with American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Steve Ray Ladson for a night spanning blues, country, roots, soul and rock ‘n’ roll.

⭐ STEVE RAY LADSON

An America’s Got Talent finalist, Steve Ray Ladson brings his unmistakable blend of country, blues, soul and Southern roots music to Dublin.

Steve Ray arrives following his recent collaboration with Billy Ray Cyrus — bringing the energy of contemporary American country straight to the stage of The Grand Social.

Expect songs from Steve Ray’s own catalogue alongside his latest music, delivered by an artist whose sound sits naturally between the worlds of country, blues and roots.

🎸 BLUES ODYSSEY

Dublin-based international collective Blues Odyssey bring together six accomplished musicians for a powerful contemporary take on the blues.

Drawing inspiration from artists including Jeff Beck, Joe Bonamassa, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Samantha Fish and Larkin Poe, the band delivers an electrifying sound rooted in Chicago blues, Texas blues, soul and classic rhythm & blues, built around improvisation and the chemistry of six performers feeding off each other in real time.

For this special Grand Social performance, expect music associated with legends including Freddie King, Robert Johnson and Nina Simone, with blues meeting soul, rock and improvisation.

📍 The Grand Social, Dublin
📅 Wednesday, 7 October 2026
🕗 8:00 PM – 11:30 PM

Mr Castle got the festival off to a roaring start on the Phil Lynott Stage last night with his incredible guitar heroics. New singer 'Nil' was a revelation also. Catch them whenever you can for one of the most electric blues performances you will see anywhere.
