Who remembers this early 2000’s metalcore band? I’ll give you a hint…they’re from Buffalo, NY.

They were also one of my favorite Metalcore bands from that era. Their first two albums were perfection in my eyes. by @nilesgregory

I want to give the biggest thank you to @karlspiessl & the rest of the @oceansleeper crew for making this Australian tour (my first ever) such an incredible experience. Even though the lack of sleep & insane early mornings at the airport were brutal this was one for the books!

These show’s were incredible & every single one of them was sold out!

Every band on this tour was filled with some of the most talented & genuine people I’ve had the pleasure to meet. @outlovedau @nevertelofficial y’all are incredible people that put on insanely good sets. It was an honor to share the stage with everyone on this run.

It will forever be crazy to me that myself & the rest of the Vana crew get to experience these incredible moments because of music, something we’ve all dreamed of & love to our cores.

I’m eternally grateful to get to do this & to get to do it with such an amazing team. Shoutout to @mathieux_davis @gloomy_raccoon__ @vana_nz @troys_the_name @sliwill @jacobehler & even though he wasn’t there physically, he was in spirit @philmauromusic. I couldn’t ask for a better family. 🖤 by @nilesgregory

Started going back & relearning songs / riffs from the bands that inspired me & got me into heavier music & wanting to play live & tour.

Let’s see a show of hands of who remembers this absolute banger from one of my all time favorite bands. taken in Melbourne, Australia by @nilesgregory

lil guitar collection show & tell..without the tell. Minus my Solo II Blackjack that I was too lazy to get out of its case in the closet.

Which one would you grab first to riff on? taken in Los Angeles, California by @nilesgregory

New Quad Cortex update means new tones 😈

This one came together using a handful of blocks from the now compatible Rabea plug-in, which is one of my favorites. As well as a few of the new effects they’ve added such as the Glitch block set to Sequence, the Crystal Delay, Vintage Digital Reverb. I also added the Misha Modulator & the Horizon Compressor as well.

I’m honestly really enjoying how this sounds. Mostly because it reminds me of the ambient clean tones used on This Will Destroy You’s album Young Mountain, my favorite record by them.

If you’d like to mess around with this preset I’ve already gone ahead & added it to my Cortex Cloud. taken in Los Angeles, California by @nilesgregory

Must be the roaring AC on this hot hot summer’s day; audio ain’t the best folks, but that does not stop the coffee review train from chugging along! Today Nick and Niles review @reunionandco , perhaps one of the vibiest spots in all of LA! I know we’ll be back to chill in the lounge and pretend to do work on our laptops sooner than later, enjoy! by @nilesgregory
