I’m delighted to share that my article is now published by Coimbra University Press in Theatre About Science: Performing and Communicating, a volume featuring contributions presented at the 2nd International Conference co-organized by Marionet, TAGV, CNC-UC, iUC, and CEIS20 in 2023.

Heartfelt thanks to my mentors for their guidance, encouragement, and support throughout this process.

My gratitude extends to the artists who generously shared their experiences, insights, and perspectives, helping shape this research.

Many thanks to the organizational and editorial teams whose dedication brought this publication to life.

This work is dedicated to the memory of Vezio Ruggieri, with deep respect, sincere appreciation, and lasting admiration. by @niloufardavari

🚨 TODAY IS THE FINAL SHOW! 🚨

Only 1 chance left!
Don’t miss NOSTOS, the acclaimed Toronto Fringe production that the Toronto Star calls “wholly engaging” and “funny and horrific”.

As two Iranian-Canadian half-sisters watch the fallout of the January 2026 uprising in Iran from the safety of Toronto, two talking dogs and a live-in android have plenty to say about the situation themselves.

NOSTOS is a bold and absurd look at what it feels like to be thousands of kilometres away as life-changing events unfold in your homeland.

🎟️ This is your absolute last chance to catch the final performance before we close. Don’t wait—reserve tickets via the link in our bio right now!

Only 4 shows left! Don’t miss NOSTOS, the acclaimed Toronto Fringe production that the Toronto Star calls “wholly engaging” and “funny and horrific”.

NOSTOS is a bold and absurd look at what it feels like to be thousands of kilometres away as life-changing events unfold in your homeland. As Glenn Sumi writes in the Toronto Star, “Yaghoubi, who also directs, doesn’t spoon feed the audience, making us work to discover the world we’re in”.
Thank you to Glenn Sumi @sosumiig and the Toronto Star for engaging so thoughtfully with NOSTOS.
🎟️ Catch one of the final four performances before they’re gone.
