All treats, no tricks! 🎃

Our pigs are getting into the Halloween spirit with a seasonal snack that’s as nutritious as it is delicious!

Pumpkins are packed with fiber to support healthy digestion, beta carotene for immune health, and plenty of water to help keep our pigs hydrated.

Who says Halloween treats can’t be healthy? 🧡 by @nimanranch

Fall weather? Debatable. Bacon weather? Always. by @nimanranch

Last week, StarChefs and Niman Ranch (@nimanranch) were back in Los Angeles, filling Hatchet Hall (@hatchethall) with chefs and operators from across the city for an afternoon of catching up over a family-style lunch. Bartender David Purcell (@davidianpurcell) got the room going with a sparkling apple spritz and a 50/50 Manhattan, while passed bites like sardine toast with Niman Ranch prosciutto on buttered milk bread made their way around. Once everyone sat down, Chef Brad Willits (@willitsbrad) and his team kept the platters coming including a pork-duck terrine built with Niman’s Iberian Duroc pork shoulder, slow-cooked prime rib with house Worcestershire and beef fat salsa verde, and Iberian Duroc baby back ribs lacquered in fish sauce caramel. A burnt chocolate cheesecake with honey and sherry closed things out. Big thanks to Brad, David, and the Hatchet Hall crew for opening their doors, to Niman Ranch for making afternoons like this possible, and to the Los Angeles industry for showing up for each other. by @nimanranch

Earlier this month, StarChefs and Niman Ranch (@nimanranch) brought Denver’s culinary community together at Alteño (@altenodenver) for an industry lunch rooted in the flavors of Mexico. Chefs Johnny Curiel (@johnnycuriel7), Eric Honas (@eric.honas), and Alyssa Frost (@alyssafrost_) started the afternoon with a round of passed bites, including sopes topped with pasilla-braised Niman Ranch grassfed short rib. The family-style spread that followed ran from carne en su jugo, a Jalisco beef-and-bacon stew, made with Niman’s grassfed strip loin and applewood-smoked bacon, to a smoked Niman lamb shoulder off the wood-fired grill, brightened with sour orange and salsa seca. Thank you to Johnny, Eric, Alyssa, and the whole Alteño team for the hospitality, Niman Ranch for the continued support, and everyone who came out to eat, drink, and connect. by @nimanranch

One of the big things that sets us apart? No crates. Just open space, fresh air, and family farms where animal welfare comes first. by @nimanranch
