POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I came to Opobo for the coronation, but I found myself capturing so much more.

The traditions that have carried us through generations, the people who keep them alive, and the everyday moments that make Opobo what it is.

A celebration of a new reign, but also a glimpse into the history, culture and life of a people.

Opobo; where heritage lives. 👑🌊

Life along the river, where boats carry stories, the water sustains communities, and every shoreline holds a memory. This is Opobo, my maternal home; a place I’ve returned to every year since I was born. 🌊🛶❤️ taken in Opobo Kingdom Rivers State by @nimirowland

So I decided to make a compilation of some of my favorite moments from my first year in university, A place I was first anxious to come to ended up being the muse for my creativity.
