Մի՛ բանակցիր հարաբերության ամենապարզ ու հիմնական բաների շուրջ։
Պատկերացրու՝ հարաբերությունը մեքենա է։
Մեքենայի գույնի, մոդելի, երաժշտության, նույնիսկ ճանապարհի ու նպատակակետի մասին կարելի է պայմանավորվել։
Բայց արգելակների, ղեկի ու չորս անիվների մասին չես կարող բանակցել։
Սերը, հարգանքը, ազնվությունը և ուշադրությունը հարաբերության չորս անիվներն են։Սրանք ավելորդ բաներ չեն։
Սրանք հարաբերության նվազագույն պայմաններն են։Չես կարող ասել՝
«Լավ, երեք անիվով էլ գնանք։ Չորրորդ անիվի փոխարեն ես ավելի շատ կփորձեմ, իմ ցանկություններից կհրաժարվեմ, ավելի շատ կզիջեմ»։Երեք անիվով մեքենան քո լրացուցիչ ջանքերով չի շարժվելու։Դու պարզապես կամաց-կամաց կսպառվես։Եթե հարաբերության ամենահիմնական բաները ստանալու համար դու անընդհատ պայքարում ես, նշանակում է՝ մենակ դու ես այդ մեքենան առաջ հրում։Իսկ մյուս մարդը գուցե վաղուց իջել է մեքենայից։
Դու սիրահարված չես այս հարաբերության իրականությանը։
Դու սիրահարված ես այն պատկերին, այն նպատակակետին, որը կարծում էիր՝ մի օր այս մարդու հետ հասնելու ես։Հիշիր՝մարդը, ով պատրաստ չէ այսօր նստել քո կողքին և ճանապարհը միասին անցնել, երբեք չի կարող լինել քո ուղեկիցը որևէ ճանապարհի կամ նպատակակետի վրա։Մի՛ պայքարիր հարաբերության նվազագույն պայմանների համար։
