let me know in the comments if you have any experience with an artist that refused to go with your idea — did it go well for you? or did you end up getting the tattoo by somebody else?

what are your resons? read more below:

lately I have spent some time trying to wrap my head around the most important question of a tattoo artist’s life.. why? why do I do it? and why do I get it done on me?

and then I remembered that the original reason why I started to get tattoos was that I simply could not stick with any decision I made. It started with me being indecisive about what food I ordered, then it was what clothes am I going to to wear until it slowly grew into me regretting my entire life.

No matter what I did big or small — I ended up filled with regret. So I chose to stick with some of my decisions forever. And it taught me many lessons actually, but therapy also helped a ton lol.

Anyway, I could write a whole lot more about this topic probably, but I would like to know why are YOU getting tattoos? And if not, what is holding you back? by @nina.exui
