/THE JOURNEY/I came into the beauty industry as an outsider. That’s exactly why I could see what was missing... 👉In the majority of nail and brow/lash salons there was inconsistent quality. Untrained stylists. Bad working conditions. Toxic fumes. Products that weren’t what they claimed to be.An industry with enormous potential but had been handled poorly…So in 2017 DASHL was born. Accessible and non-toxic beauty services on-the-go for the modern woman — built to make the beauty industry better. For customers AND for the women working in it. No electric nail files, no acrylic or toxic fumes. Only gentle treatments on your natural nails or lashes.Our customers kept asking to take the DASHL experience home.So a few years into our journey we created exactly that — a makeup line developed by our own makeup artists and beauty experts. Ava, 5 months 🥺📸What a journey these past months have been. Building Dashl while becoming a mom has changed my perspective in the most beautiful way. My days look different now filled with both creating (Dashl) and being present (with her), often at the same time. I’ve been combining building something I love whilst growing along side her, and it is so worth it. Some days I take calls / video meetings with her in my arms, working from home between naps, bring her to the office (like today’s Dashl campaign shoot). Last week she was next to me while we reviewed new products we’re developing. And on other days we do luncheon’s with other baby mama’s, catching up with friends or doing baby swim. 💖I get my energy from both worlds, and I feel so grateful I don’t have to choose.
