Today, a young man from our area was targeted. An Israeli missile struck him, tearing his body to pieces. I was among the first to witness the scene. I couldn't just leave him there, so I gathered his remains, pieces of flesh and intestines, and put them in a bag… a sight no human mind can comprehend. Why, world? Why have our lives become so cheap? Why is a human being killed before our very eyes, while the world watches and does nothing? We are not just numbers. We are human beings; we have names, homes, mothers, children, and dreams. Today we lost a young man, and tomorrow we don't know who will be next. We cry for help. We ask that our pain be seen. We ask that the world remember that we are human beings and deserve life and safety. Why, world? Why?
