This summer has been an unexpected one, a lot of twists & turns that I didn’t plan for blocked my creativity. This fall will be one for the books! Going into overdrive.

Digging in the crates with Prince George’s County artist @whotheillest, we had the luxury of catching up with him recently while he was working on his craft and this is some of the questions we asked.

Q: What does hiphop mean to you
A: life… it means everything to me, back from when I was like 4/5 years old. I feel like I’ve tapped into my artistry pretty well over the years and I feel like my love for hiphop will continue to show itself in my music.

Q: speaking of your music, what can your supporters expect from you for the 2nd half of the year?
A: I have some things prepared, a couple I don’t necessarily want to speak on right this moment but definitely some cool s*** on the horizon. Hoping yall love it, I put my heart into the new work.

Clipse live at the Howard Theatre [April 2026]

Really used to play Clipse albums & mixtapes like everyday on the train to school & back home in high school on my lil mp3 player. Younger me was very happy seeing them live and capturing these GRAMMY winning brothers on my camera 🙏🏾. This is really what it’s about for me, full circle moments.

Every man has a special love for their 1st car.

I had the privilege of listening to his debut album “Mighty Long Time” alongside his first car, a 1997 Nissan Maxima.
I found the duality of his 1st car and his 1st project released to be poetic and definitely worth sharing with our followers.
