25 women. One table. And a whole lot left at the door.

August’s Conversation brought us together over steak, candlelight, red roses, beautiful gifts and the kind of conversations that somehow make strangers feel a little less like strangers by the end of the night.

MORE, PLEASE. ❤️

And for one night, we gave ourselves permission to say exactly what we want more of without explaining it, apologizing for it or making it smaller.

Houston is full of incredible women, but finding your people as an adult can still be hard.

As our lives change, we need spaces to build new friendships that fit the women we are now.

My background in Public Relations with @nineandnorthpr connecting brands with media and real people through experiences that create meaningful impact made me think…

What if I use the relationships, resources and experience I’d built over the years to create something for us… the real people.

Beautifully curated experiences shouldn’t be reserved for mega influencers, celebrities or exclusive guest lists.

I wanted everyday women to walk into a room and feel considered, celebrated and thought of in every detail.

I created The Conversation to bring real women together in beautiful rooms designed for real connection and give brands an opportunity to connect with women beyond the screen.

This is not your average “networking” event.

So, come every month for the conversation.
…and leave with new friendships.

Some rooms are beautiful.
Some rooms stay with you.

July’s edition of The Conversation was centered around the things we carry but don’t always say out loud.

The words left unsaid, the chapters we’re still processing, and the seasons of womanhood we’re quietly navigating.

And this month, the table came with a twist.
Every woman went on a Blind Date With a Book 📚

Each seat held a mystery book, completely wrapped so the title and cover couldn’t influence the choice.
Instead, guests chose their seat and their book based only on a card describing an inner life experience. 🏷️

The twist?…Each woman was blindly matched with a book that reflected the season of life she felt she was currently in.

Some were about starting over.
Some about choosing yourself.
Some about finding your voice.
Some about friendship, identity, desire, grief, courage, or becoming someone new.

And somewhere between opening books, sharing stories, eating dinner, and having the conversations we don’t always get to have, a table full of women who mostly arrived as strangers started to feel like community.

This is The Conversation. 🤍

Not networking.
Not small talk.
Just intentionally curated rooms where women can feel seen, heard, safe and connected. ✨🌿

One thing about The Conversation…

The photos will never fully capture what happened in the room.

The laughs between strangers who became friends.
The conversations that lasted long after the icebreakers ended.
The women who came alone and left with plans for brunch next week.

May’s Happy Hour hosted by @themoodroomhouston was a reminder that community doesn’t have to be complicated…it just has to be intentional.
