Thank you Malden Cosplay Celebration 🩷

Can you believe it’s been a week since the event? We had so much fun this year, and we can’t wait for next year’s festivities 🥳

This year was absolutely packed with events and programming! From the Random Dance Play and Deathmatch early in the morning to all the fun panels and activities, and closing out with the idol showcase, we were always busy enjoying the event.

It was so much fun to host our first ever Random Dance Play with Jacky (@jacky.ha.313), and aurafarm after as a commemorative video. It was amazing to learn about wota and mix culture before the showcase with AniParty (@anisongparty), and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect opener to teach the crowd about idol culture. The idol showcase was amazing, especially with all the different performances and all the newly debuted idols. We loved watching the performances and being able to cheer everyone on! After all the events, we partied it up at the after party dj’d by AniParty! We loved dancing to all the anime hits and idol franchise classics, we couldn’t have asked for a better end to the night.

We can’t wait to improve for next year and make it bigger and better! If you’re an idol, please check out the email for the feedback form and we’ll have the performance videos out as soon as we can! ❤️

Here’s our map of the restaurants and cafes around the main plaza! These locations are within a perfect walking distance from the various event hubs, and there’s so many options to choose from!

We’ve broken down locations by the type of food they have (ie: cafe or boba, quick service, and sit downs) to help you plan ahead!

Convenient spots within the action include
⭐️ Santa Fe Burrito Grill (@santa_fe_burrito_grill) - right next to the main plaza! MCC is also hosting a fundraiser where a portion of each purchase goes towards Malden Safe Streets .
⭐️ Pearl Street Station @pearlstreet_bbq_ - where many panels are being held throughout the day. They have great food, drinks, and enough tables to fit the entire cosplay squad!
⭐️ Idle Hands (@idlehandsbeer) x Revelry (@revelryboston) - featuring a cajun menu in the Taproom by Revelry! This is also where the speculative fiction author panel and signing will be at 1pm!!

We can’t wait to see you on October 3rd! by @nineheartsne
