Our June 2026 ‘Monthly Techno Mixshow’ features an eighty-minute mix from Miss Oana. ➡️ Link in Bio.

Miss Oana is a Luxembourg-based artist, blending hypnotic techno with electro breaks. Her dynamic sets combine heavy basslines, vibrant rhythms, and expansive soundscapes.

Her musical journey began in the late 1990s, driven by a passion for innovation and the dynamic energy of techno. Inspired by icons such as Afrika Bambaataa, Westbam, and The Advent, she absorbed diverse sounds and broken beats, developing her own distinctive style over the years.

She has performed across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, with engagements in cities such as Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Strasbourg, Paris, Zugdidi, Montréal, Havana, Bogotá, Calí, Medellín, Manizales, Nagoya, and Beijing, among others.

She has shared the stage with artists like Westbam, The Advent, Marco Bailey, A.Paul, Luke Slater, Bas Mooy, Rødhåd, Fiedel, Boris Dolinski, Torsten Kanzler, Deraout, Ricardo Garduno, Temudo to name a few.

Beyond being an artist, Miss Oana is the founder of ōLITH, a platform for innovative projects that cultivates collaboration and mutual support among artists united by common values and passion for quality electronic music.

Her story is defined by resilience, artistic integrity, and a deep devotion to pushing boundaries in the ever-evolving music scene. By staying true to her values, she continues to pursue her passion with commitment, dedication, and authenticity. by @ninelives_techno

I just posted my full video session for NineLives Techno.

Three hours. No edits. Just a continuous Techno journey built on pressure, movement, restraint, and progression. Rather than a collection of quick highlights, this set was designed to unfold gradually, a sustained session where the energy evolves naturally and every transition serves the bigger picture.

The mix features new selections from both known and unknown artists, moving through hypnotic rhythms, rolling low-end, raw percussion, and deeper atmospheric moments. Some sections push forward with force. Others sit deeper in the pocket. The goal was to stay locked in and let the energy develop naturally from beginning to end.

I also want to give a sincere shout to Kat and Dan from NineLives Techno. Their hard work, consistency, and commitment to the scene should not go unnoticed. They have curated one of the best and most consistent Techno podcasts out there, continuing to represent artists and sounds that are often unseen and unheard.

Respect to NineLives Techno for holding space for the culture.

Kuryente is the Techno identity of Mark Carranceja, a DJ, producer, filmmaker, and sound artist working at the intersection of rhythm, atmosphere, and electrical tension. His sound is grounded in proper Techno: hard, physical, hypnotic, and uncompromising, while pulling from field recording, sound design, industrial music, experimental cinema, and the raw texture of urban life.
