What a truly special visit! ❤️

Our sweet friends came all the way from Minneapolis/St. Paul to visit us, and it was extra special because I finally got to meet Aspen face-to-face after 1.5 years of emailing, texting, and getting to know each other from afar. 🥰

And let me just say… Aspen is everything! What a gift it was to finally share time together in person, laugh, talk, and make memories with her and her family.

Some friendships begin long before you ever meet in person, and this one has been so incredibly valuable to me. 💕 I’m so grateful for this visit and for the people who make life richer simply by showing up and being part of it.

Thank you, @aspenraemadrid, for making the trip and for such a meaningful visit. ❤️ Until next time!

Keep your eyes open. Keep your heart ❤️open. And soak up these last days of summer… because you just never know where life is going to take you. ☀️

Millie’s in Mancos with my friend Shea. 🚲 Breaking in my new 🚴Retrospec e-bike. 🥾 Hiking Bear’s Ranch with my guys—Randy, Dakota, Gunner & Cowboy—and yes… we actually saw a BIG bear. 🐻😂

Sunday golf at Dalton Golf Club with those ridiculous Colorado views. ⛳️🏔️ The La Plata County Fair🎡, cheering on my friend’s daughters who took 1st. 🏆🐴 A little Santa Fe flavor from my sweet neighbor Salsa (💃) with blue corn pancakes🥞 & waffles. And lots of good people, including our Brim & Boot favorite staff member 🥰 -Hannah Blevin she is beautiful inside and out. 🤍

And our little pumpkin, Mila. 🎃❤️ Watching her change and grow is pretty damn special. We love this little girl more than words can say.

And then there’s Dave.♿ ❤️ Six years since his accident and severe TBI @loveyourbrain 💜Six years of hard, hope, prayers, setbacks, progress and a whole lot of love. Watching how far he’s come reminds me not to take a damn thing for granted.

Life doesn’t always go according to plan. Sometimes it takes you somewhere completely unexpected.

And sometimes you look around and think…

Damn. Life is pretty freaking good. 😎

Soak it in. Love your people. Take the hike. Play the round. Eat the pancakes. Ride the bike. Hug the babies. Watch the sunset.

Life is good in Durango. 🤠❤️

⛳️💚 My favorite summer pairing... golf + Randy. ❤️🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️

Spent the day at one of the most beautiful courses we've ever played, @daltonranchgolfclub. Every hole kept us on our toes, the mountain views were unreal, and hearing (and seeing!) the @dsngrr roll through was the ultimate Durango bonus. 🚂🏔️

Finished the round with a cool beverage at @theclubhouse... because that's how every great golf day should end. 🍻☀️

And yes... still convinced @taylormadegolf makes the best clubs ever. 😉⛳️

Summer days like this are the good stuff. 💚🏌️‍♀️🏌️‍♂️⛳️🚂🌲☀️🍻🏔️💚
