WHOLENESS

I speak through color.

Nothing in this painting is random.

The universe is in us, not outside of us. That’s why her hair fades into the darkness.

Blue is intuition.
Green is love over envy.
Gold is truth.

One wing is light. One is shadow. The shadow wing is still covered in white feathers because healing isn’t deleting the dark parts of yourself. It’s learning to carry them without letting them carry you.

People chase the light so hard they forget they’re human.

You need both wings to fly. by @ninetta9art

FREE

This piece explores the coexistence of light and darkness within every human being.

The nun and the devil are not opposites—they are one. They represent the parts of ourselves that society often teaches us to separate. Love begins when we stop rejecting parts of who we are.

The gold teeth symbolize the power of speech. Our words have the ability to create, destroy, heal, and liberate. Speaking your truth is an act of power.

The green eyes represent the heart chakra—the center of love, compassion, and acceptance. Love is only possible when every part of yourself is seen.

The word “FREE” is carved into the hand, with red blood flowing from it. The blood represents the root chakra—our foundation. Freedom is the foundation of life. It is not something that has to be earned; it is something every person can choose to give themselves.

The carving itself carries another meaning. Every day, people leave wounds on themselves—through self-hatred, shame, fear, or the rejection of who they are. So why not make that wound mean something different? Why not carve freedom into yourself instead? Not as an act of destruction, but as a symbol of choosing yourself. Choosing to stop dividing yourself into “good” and “bad,” and allowing both sides to exist in harmony.

This work asks one question:

What would change if you finally gave yourself the freedom to be whole?
