It’s been a while! Last month I went back to Jingdezhen and took a systematic glaze class with master chemist @kenlu999 @homilyceramic.

Honestly, the chemistry and math humbled me (RIP my brain cells). But what I’ll carry forward most is learning the best practices in the making and testing process. All those small things change everything! Now I can actually problem-solve, build on what’s been done, and slowly level up✨ by @ningceramics

Throwback to my time in Jingdezhen 🏺 Living in a city where ceramics are woven into everyday life was incredibly inspiring. Artists, potters, and makers all pushing the boundaries of their craft — from experimenting with shapes and materials to perfecting the tiniest details. There’s this beautiful energy of dedication and creativity that fills the air. Really miss being surrounded by people who live and breathe clay! by @ningceramics
