lil bit of video game music before I have to lock back in on college stuff! I finally finished persona 4 some days ago and decided to learn a couple of the piano pieces off the soundtrack. here’s “Corner of Memories” (menu theme) and “Corridor” (final dungeon music).
might learn some more later 🤔 by @ninimusicacc

Played piano for buckeye phil in the overture from La Forza del Destino by Verdi this past week!! this was my first time playing in a large ensemble since graduating, and it was still just as fun (even if I was only in it for three weeks)! 🫶

clips from Yuhwa by Adolphus Hailstork, the piece I’ve been working on this semester! this account actually started as a flute account (ogs know!!), but I haven’t posted anything flute related in a solid couple of years 🤭 I’m currently working on making this piece expressive but it’s almost at the final product stage! by @ninimusicacc

double Chopin Monday!! the first clip is from nocturne op.9 no.2 and the second is etude op. 10 no. 6. they’re pieces I’ve been working on this semester (amongst others) - the nocturne is solid and I’m slowly improving on the etude. haven’t been posting all that much (two majors keeps you busy) nor have I shared any progress recently but I hope to continue the posts soon :) by @ninimusicacc

two months later, here’s an update on how the coda of Ballade No 1 is going!! Slide 2 is an excerpt from “Intermezzo” by Francis Poulenc, which I’ve started working on this past month :) the piano isn’t exactly the most in tune but I’m happy with my work this summer and excited for college to begin 🥳 by @ninimusicacc

new camera angle!! + djungelskog so this doesn’t turn from a post to a reel. I’ve been working on speeding up the coda of Ballade No. 1 recently and felt like sharing progress. This is about 20 clicks off my goal tempo, so I’m getting closer - feeling excited 🥳 by @ninimusicacc

first summer practice log! my newest project is Chopin’s Ballade No. 1, Op. 23 and I’ll occasionally be sharing some improvement clips from practice sessions. this is a tough one for sure (especially the coda) but I’m excited to hopefully get it to a performance standpoint by August! by @ninimusicacc

end of an era 💐

as a freshman in concert white, hoping to make wind symphony, I had no idea what was in store for me. now, four years later, performing a concerto with the wind symphony is a dream come true. I am so incredibly grateful for all of the people I’ve met and every opportunity I’ve been a part of. I have had so much fun and I will forever cherish the memories I’ve made during my time with Mason Bands.
Thank you 🫶
