Day in My Life vlog: Beauty, Culture & Cocktails 💋

Welcome to a day in my life! 🤍 I’m so excited to bring you along with me. (P.S. If you’re looking for unique things to do in Washington, DC, here’s an itinerary worth saving!)

I started my day creating a custom fragrance at the Olfactory in Union Market, and Blue Bottle Coffee shop for an iced matcha. 🍵 @olfactorynyc + @bluebottle

Then enjoyed an incredible Balkan lunch at Ámbar on Capitol Hill, and ended the evening celebrating International Tequila Day with the Embassy of Mexico and the Mexican Cultural Institute. 🇲🇽 @ambar_restaurants + @embamexeua @mexculturedc

As someone who’s Afro Mexican, it was especially meaningful to celebrate the culture, craftsmanship, and traditions behind one of Mexico’s most iconic spirits in such a beautiful setting. 🍾✨

During my hotel tour, I explored the beautifully designed rooms, modern bathrooms, and wellness-focused amenities. The hotel features a 24-hour Westin WORKOUT Fitness Studio equipped with Peloton bikes and functional training equipment, making it a great option for travelers who prioritize fitness.

I also visited Root and Vine restaurant + Root and Vine Bar, the hotel’s signature restaurant, where guests can enjoy handcrafted dishes, including fresh pizzas, cocktails, and seasonal menu items in a stylish atmosphere.
