As much of a pest as these mourning geckos can be … they are still pretty cool in their own right 😉👏

This South American enclosure could do with a little rework and tidy up. But I never get bored of this .

Nice to have the mischief duo back together ( probably won’t be long until KINKS decides to go on another adventure)

I never just post positivity and my successes. I will always post the sad realities of down times and the harsh reality of what can happen.

Sadly today I lost the battle of trying to keep one of my large male bumblebee Oscar Fish alive. He has been on heavy medication and sort treatment for the past two weeks due to a very bad case. Of pop eye and bacterial infection. I’ve also been treating the entire pond to make sure that I safeguard the rest of the Fish collection. Everyone else seems to be doing fine and there’s no signs of anything anymore in the pond.

I decided to treat him in a separate container to isolate the problem as much as possible carefully making sure he was getting correct dosage of medication and salt treatment and proper aeration for oxygen as well. I thought it was getting better, but today was the last day for him, unfortunately.

This is their reality of what can happen in a matter how long you’ve been keeping exotics for Fish reptiles mammals whatever you are keeping and no matter how much experience and knowledge you have these things can happen.
All we can do is try to learn from it and do better. taken in United Kingdom by @nipper_exotics
