“Breed” will be the opening theme for the animated series ‘The Guy She Was Interested In Wasn’t A Guy At All,’ Crunchyroll announced at Anime Expo yesterday. Nirvana is referenced throughout the original manga (along with bands like Turnstile and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard), and the character Mitsuki is first introduced wearing a Nirvana hoodie.
