When gambling it’s a great pleasure to win and an even greater pleasure to lose. The people we’ve won along the way heighten the journey; the people we lose at the end of it create the story. High school has just been one long casino run. Some people were lucky, others were naturals. Others simply just lost. But throughout the years, we have all won enough to have the privilege to lose. As we all take the next step on our journey, we all have stories to tell, stories we cherish, stories of joy, sadness, anger and triumph. As we step out of this casino called high school, may we carry our stories with pride — the wins, the losses, and everything in between. Here’s to betting boldly on whatever comes next. Let’s go make the next hand count.
