#REPOST @precisionturbo - Nissan 350Z Stick Shift Record

Powered by a Precision Turbo Next Gen 8385, this 350Z is now the only stick shift Nissan 350Z in the world to run 8s.

During the NOPI Street Car Challenge, Kyle and Raquel Silva (@silva350z ) lowered their own record with an 8.79 @ 165 mph, becoming the quickest stick shift 350Z in the world. They then backed it up with an 8.88 @ 166 mph, earning the title of the fastest stick shift 350Z in the world.

The team also continues to hold the overall Nissan 350Z standing half-mile record and the VQ-powered standing half-mile record, having recorded 183 mph in 2021.

Congratulations to Kyle and Raquel Silva and TID Performance (@kyle_tidperformance ) on another historic milestone. The records keep falling, and this Precision Turbo-powered VQ continues to raise the bar.

Story Time! Letty @mrodofficial screen used FATF Racewars S14 pics taken 20 years apart. After the first FATF movie they repainted some of the cars to be reused for the second movie during the warehouse scramble scene. I attended the 2 Fast 2 Furious auction in Miami after filming wrapped where they sold off a LOT of the cars from the second movie including what I instantly recognized as Letty’s Racewars S14. The dead giveaway was the steering wheel still had the nitrous buttons on the airbag. I popped the hood & saw traces of that iconic Purple & confirmed my suspicion. Unfortunately, I did not have the money to bid on the car so after that day I thought it was gone forever. Fast forward about 20 years to when the car resurfaces now in the hands of @fastandfuriousintegra who had a full restoration plan for the car. I met up with him & recreated the photo from that day even wearing the same 2002 National 240SX Convention T-Shirt! The photo was taken mid-restoration in 2023 but now in 2026 it has been fully restored & currently on display in all its glory at the @petersenmuseum in California for their 25th Anniversary of The Fast & The Furious.
