1st September 2026 - Dang ! I did not expect my topmost email in queue to be this one.

There is a specific feeling that lives in a part of the brain where words just fail. It can only be felt deep down, making it almost impossible to fully put into words. Receiving the official result of my performance evaluation from the Indian Leadership Academy for the Level 1 Advanced Coaching Skills Certification Program brought that exact feeling to the surface.

Looking back on this journey from February 2026 to May 2026, the structure was intense:

60 hours of training, 10 hours of mentoring, multiple 1x1 sessions with a mentor coach, and finally, the performance evaluation process itself.

But the real transformation did not happen just in the classroom. The true test was out in the open, practicing with my peer coaches and eventually working with real clients.

Those real world sessions were where I had to put the true effectiveness of the program to work. That was where I finally understood the WHY behind the ICF gold standards. It was where concept turned into real practice: learning what it actually means to embody a coaching mindset, and what it literally feels like to be fully present with another human being.

The education program delivered by the Indian Leadership Academy was so effective that it did more than just build my skills. It made me completely confident about my WHY in WHAT I do, and it solidified that HOW I do it comes down to pure discipline.

This evaluation is a major milestone, but it is not the destination. The journey goes on as I move forward toward getting fully accredited by the ICF in the future. For now, I am just taking a moment to sit with this feeling and appreciate how far this path has brought me.

Team Building - I recently worked with a team leader and to them I questioned about vulnerability

Means how does their team feel like being open about bringing in their authentic self when together during team discussions and 1x1

To which the leader responded “ like how safe they feel in dropping in tear and emotions”

I responded “well if that the level of safe space you have for them then bravo”

I clarified – I wanted to understand does the team bring vulnerability to show and express that
1. They do not know
2. This is my weakness
3. I am unable to upskill in __ this aspect
4. I have interpersonal shortcoming
5. I accept my mistake – Lastly do they say
6. I need help

To this the leader responded that they rarely emphasize to even talk about it with each other. And paused

Note: I am brining in this to understand do we really understand the authentic purpose of building a team .
This leader client admitted that the work sphere and the market only focuses on metrics, numbers, results , strategies and then during peak season they manipulate with freebies .

The there was silence_____
