Meeting a hero, a true original, a unicorn, months after losing pretty much all our belongings in Katrina. Chrissy Amphlett and I started correspondence over the Internet right after the devastation. I learned about her memoir and near the end of that incredibly difficult year she said she was coming to NoLa during jazz fest 2006. The rest, is precious to me and Marci. grateful to get to know her and the love of her life, #charleydrayton and her dear friend #shaynastewart . Eternally grateful to each of them. #chrissyamphlettforever taken in French Quarter by @nitebeatatomic
