POSTS STORIES REELS

This is the first song in the series - #MYSATSANG UNPLUGGED. The idea behind this series is to share some songs/bhajans which spread positivity and have some knowledge about life. I think it will be relevant amidst the current time of negativity & hopelessness. All these songs are sung with simplicity, devotion & from the heart during my recent (or ongoing) online Satsangs.

If you like it then do share it. Keep showering your blessings to all.

Love & Blessings,
Nitin Dawar

Guru Meri Puja by @nitindawarmusic

Its a rare phenomenon when an enlightened Guru, with such an unconditional and infinite love for every being, walks the planet. It is unfathomable to grasp the true meaning & value of it and if you do even a little then make most of it. Happy 70th birthday dearest @gurudev by @nitindawarmusic

( Satsang @bangaloreashram in the presence of @gurudev )

Meaning:

Oh friend, I am mad in love (prem diwani)
No one understands my pain
Oh friend, I am mad in love
No one understands my pain
Wounded by this pain, I wander from forest to forest
No healer (doctor) have I found
I do not know the rituals of aarti and vandan (worship and prayer)
Nor the customs of puja (worship)
I have only taken the lamps of my two eyes
And kept them ready (as my offering of love)
Only the wounded knows the state of the wounded
Only the jeweler knows the value of the jewel
My bed is on the gallows (suli - symbol of sacrifice)
How can one sleep in such a bed?
My beloved’s bed is in the sky (heavenly realm)
How can an ordinary person reach there to sleep?
Meera’s pain will end
Only when the dark-complexioned Lord (Krishna, the healer) becomes her physician by @nitindawarmusic

Beautifully sing by @nitindawarmusic 💖

You should not go seeking love. Just relax,
for you can only experience love,
when you are free from tension and confusion.

Meaning in essence:
Meera is saying that her devotion is beyond rules, rituals, or social understanding. Her love for the Divine is so intense that it consumes her entirely.. only her eyes remain as lamps, constantly yearning for a glimpse (darshan) of her beloved Lord.
