BERLIN 📍‘Diaspora Wonderland’ brings together a generation of artists from Afro-Mediterranean diasporas, exploring identity, memory and belonging through the language of fashion.The works presented share a common ground: the stories of countries left behind, family intimacy, the traces of exile, inherited know-how and the images that arise from fragmented memories. Opening 26.03.26, 19:00 @ifagalleryberlin, curated by @lotfi_aoulad, @dasrelais⚡ Nicolas Omar Diop aka NIX is a Senegalese Rap pioneer, a trendsetter in creative music videos and a filmmaker. The albums Excuse My Wolof (2016) and EMW II – The Ñuulest (2018) show his artistic breadth. In 2020, he unveiled Virgo and produced his first short film, a project that reflects his constant evolution, also in terms of cinema and fashion. After performances at the Chanel Métiers d’art Show in Dakar in 2022, and Tokyo in 2023, NIX became a Chanel ambassador in 2024.
