When I finished Onyx Storm in ‘25 I was absolutely wrecked.
It was a “stare at the wall” kind of ending, and even after, I had the book hangover of my life😭

I have genuinely missed being in this universe, so I’m dying to just jump right back in!

Side note: after Onyx Storm, I fear every. single. book in the rest of this series. Including this one. I don’t know what to expect. Rebecca said there are clues in this book…

I’m a little late with this one, but I have been ARC reading for @raeryderauthor since the release of her second book ever - Worth Every Game!

I have read and loved every single book written by Rae, so I fear I will eat this up👏🏼✨🫶🏼 A well written forbidden romance is literally my favourite!

Just like I’m falling in love with reading all over again🤎

I’ve been gone for a while, and honestly, I needed to be. Life has felt like a lot lately, and somewhere along the way, something I used to love started feeling like another thing I had to do. And I hated that feeling.

Because I never wanted books to feel like pressure. I wanted them to feel like home.

So what better way to find my way back than with a book that feels like coming home? 🥹🌲🌙 Twilight is a comfort read for me, and right now, I just want to disappear into Forks, get lost in the pages, and remember why I fell in love with stories in the first place.

It may be spring in South Africa, but in my heart, it’s autumn🍂 Give me cosy blankets, warm drinks, candles, and books that feel like home.

This scene was everything✨I genuinely couldn’t not stop watching. I binged this show in record time!

I haven’t enjoyed a series this much in such a long time - my goodness it was pure cinema!! The whole season was incredible, but this episode/scene was 👩🏻‍🍳💋🤌🏼 !

Hockey romance is one of my favourite type of romances to read, but to see it on screen like this👏🏼😍Obsessed.

Twilight will forever have a special place in my heart✨

I grew up watching the movies, and I’ve been completely obsessed since the very first time I saw them. There’s just something about returning to Forks, hearing the soundtrack, seeing Bella and Edward’s story unfold, and feeling all that nostalgia wash over me. No matter how many years pass or how many times I rewatch the movies, I never get tired of them.

For me, Twilight is the blueprint when it comes to vampire romance. The atmosphere, the angst, the romance, the mystery—it captured my heart years ago and never let go. Every rewatch reminds me why I fell in love with this world in the first place.🩸♥️

I’ve read Twilight before, but I’ve never actually finished the entire book series - which is a crime, I know - but that is finally about to change. I’m so excited to reread Twilight, continue the journey, and binge-read the whole saga from beginning to end. I can’t wait to experience the story in a completely new way while revisiting all the moments I already adore.

Some stories come and go, but Twilight is one I’ll never stop loving. It’s a comfort series, a nostalgic escape, and a fandom I’ll happily be part of forever🤍

Now I’ll ask the million dollar question: Team Edward or Team Jacob?👀

Four months… and I honestly didn’t realise how much I’d miss this space until I was away from it🤍🌸

I’ve missed posting, connecting with you all, and getting to know such incredible bookish friends on here. I’ve missed the conversations, the recommendations, and just sharing my love for stories with people who get it🥹

The past few months have been full of big changes — moving, settling into a new place, new adventures, and a lot of life happening all at once ✨ It’s been exciting and a little overwhelming, but somewhere along the way reading took a back seat.

I’m finally finding my rhythm again, and I’m more than ready to come back to what I love most: getting lost in books and sharing that joy with you. I’m so excited to be back — let’s talk books again 🤍📖

P.S. I got new bookshelves and I’m obsessed with the white!! I still need to unpack some decorations, so they’re not fully done yet, but I’m just glad my books are out!🥹🌸 taken in Cape Town, South Africa by @nixreadss

I’ve always loved reading, but when I picked up my first @authoranahuang book... something changed. That was the moment my passion for reading truly came alive again. It was like remembering why I fell in love with books in the first place - that feeling of completely escaping into another world and forgetting everything else around me.

I’ve loved every single one of her books - honestly, I’ve rated them all 5 stars because each one is special to me, in its own way. But Twisted Games... this book holds a piece of my heart that nothing else will ever replace.

Some might feel that there are technically “better” books out there, but for me, none will ever make me feel the way Twisted Games did. It made me feel everything - joy, heartbreak, longing, love. I cried, I smiled, and I lost myself completely in the story.

I read it back in 2022, and I still think about it today. It’s one of those rare books that lingers - that you wish you could read again for the first time, just to experience all those emotions again.

@authoranahuang writing has never once disappointed me. Her stories make me feel the way others talk about their “infinity-star” reads
- the ones that change something inside you.

I’ve been on a book buying ban for the past couple of months and honestly, I was doing so well! 🤍 BUT this weekend my fiancé completely spoiled me!🥹

He planned a little day trip to Ballito with two of my friends, handed me his card, and told me to just have fun!🙈✨ On top of that, he surprised me with an Exclusive Books voucher and told me to buy whatever books I wanted😭💛

I had the BEST time – I felt so special and so loved. He knows just how much books mean to me, and it made the day even more special. I managed to grab so many amazing books that have been sitting at the very top of my priority list, and I couldn’t be happier! 🛍️📖

I love him endlessly and appreciate him more than words can express – I’m so grateful for the beautiful day I had with my friends, and for him always knowing how to make me feel like the luckiest girl in the world 🤍✨ I love you @thomas_jstacey1

@cassidyhudspethauthor is one of the most amazing people I have ever come across 🤍

In November, I came across a post of Cassidy looking for ARC readers for Lunar Crest University. The funny thing is, when I saw this post (on threads), it was basically 30min before applications closed. I genuinely thought I was too late, and that I wouldn’t get the ARC, but I applied anyway. Not even a week later, I got an email saying I was accepted for the ARC! I was beyond excited🫶🏼

Fast forward to me finishing the ARC, becoming obsessed with her writing and reading her debut, Red Summer, as well. I truly love both of these books so much, and I rated them both 5 stars🌟This was by far the best “debut” I have ever read!

Fast forward another couple of days. I then see @cassidyhudspethauthor added me as a CLOSE FRIEND🥹I couldn’t believe it! On her story she mentioned signed copies being available, but me living in South Africa, I didn’t have high hopes that I would ever be able to get physical copies, let alone signed ones!

@cassidyhudspethauthor MADE IT FREAKING HAPPEN! 😭❤️🫶🏼 She was SO generous and offered to send both her books, SIGNED, all the way to South Africa (and iykyk, that is expensive due to shipping costs). Yeah, that’s not all…ON TOP OF THAT, she offered to split the costs 50/50. This, coming from an Indie Author?, it’s unbelievable. I- 😭🫶🏼

I can’t believe it’s already been a year!🤍 What started as a little corner to share my love of books has grown into something so much more.

The joy this account has brought me, the friendships I’ve made, the amazing people I’ve connected with, the books I’ve discovered, the authors I’ve gotten to know, and the things I’ve accomplished along the way—it’s been nothing short of incredible!💛

Reading has always been a part of me, but being able to share this passion with people who feel the same way has been truly special. Every post I see inspires me, every message and comment warms my heart, and the support I’ve received since day one means more than words can express. 🌸
