Presenting the poster for my upcoming Halloween Nostalgia Whatnot show on 09/23 at 6:30pm ET. Yes - that’s baby bat Niya. 🦇 I will be bringing all ages of Halloween to the table, from 1800’s antiques to early 2000’s vintage. Haven’t you heard? After a year of no motivation, I’m back into insect artwork and small-scale taxidermy.

This piece is titled “The Phantom and His Light” inspired by The Phantom of the Opera & commissioned by a friend of mine. It contains two butterflies which were rehydrated and pinned by me, an original watercolor painting of a lit candlestick, and red velvet drapery. The frame is antique convex glass and ornate brass.
