With tears in my eyes… I can’t believe we have made it to Year 5 of what began as Her Voice Women’s Conference. These last five years have been a testimony of God’s faithfulness, His kindness, and His unwavering love toward a ministry that was truly birthed out of obedience. What started as a conference has now become a retreat, because God Himself stamped His approval on this movement and breathed life into it in a way only He can.This year feels even more special because my mother and I have come together to cultivate a space rooted in love, kindness, and compassion. WOW!!!!!! My story is featured in TWO magazines!!!!! 😭✨Lately, God has been reminding me that His plans will always prevail.For years, many have known me as The Saved MUA and truthfully, I still am. Every year has required a different version of my “yes,” and every year, God has proven Himself faithful.Four years ago, death was knocking at my door. Today, by the grace of God, I’m here to declare His goodness and tell the story. That’s why this retreat is so personal to me. Happy Father’s Day to the man of Adonai’s heart. ❤️Long before I became a mother, I prayed. I prayed that one day my child would experience the kind of organic, genuine love that I was blessed to receive from my own father. I prayed that the man I married and the father of my children would exemplify the character, love, patience, and protection of God. Looking at you and watching you love our daughter, I can honestly say that God answered every prayer. ♥️You are the definition of a present father. Not just physically present, but emotionally, spiritually, and intentionally present. You don’t simply provide for Adonai, you pour into her. You listen to her, play with her, teach her, protect her, and make sure she knows she is loved every single day.You are truly Mr. Make It Happen. No matter what the challenge is, you find a way. No matter what needs to be done, you step up. Our family is stronger because of your consistency, your sacrifice, and your determination to make sure we have what we need.You are definitely Parent A. 😂 From the moment she wakes up, she is looking for her daddy. You understand her in a way that amazes me. You know what she needs before she asks, you know how to calm her, and you somehow have the patience to navigate every phase with grace. Watching your bond with her has been one of the greatest joys of my life.Thank you for being a covering, a leader, and an example. Thank you for loving us so well. Thank you for showing Adonai what safety, consistency, gentleness, and strength look like. Thank you for being the kind of father that makes a little girl feel secure and cherished.There are many things I admire about you, but one of my favorite things is watching you be her dad. I decided that this year, I was going to jump out on faith and do everything God placed in my hands. 😅The worst thing that can happen is that I fail.But failure is relative to the person.The worst I can do is learn.The worst I can do is grow.The worst I can do is discover what I’m capable of.The worst I can do is find out that God was stronger than my fear.So many of us are waiting for certainty before we move, but faith has never required certainty. It requires obedience.This season, I’m choosing to trust God even when I can’t trace Him.
