Is istikhara really about doing it and waiting for the “right sign”?

No. Not before you’ve tied your camel and done your part.

But the part that people miss?

Is what the du’a actually means.

“You know.. And I do not know.”

You’re asking Al-‘Aleem for the best. And sometimes… that doesn’t always look like what we want.

I only realised what the name Al-‘Aleem really meant on Niyyah.

Part of Tawakkul IS being patient with the timing AND the outcome itself.

It’s not a secret recipe where now you ‘have Tawakkul’ so NOW you deserve your outcome immediately. That defeats the whole meaning of Tawakkul 😶‍🌫️
