On May 3rd, 2024 at 5pm, I will graduate from THE Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University, Magna Cum Laude.

To cheer,
The sport I’ve dedicated my life to since I was 6. This is such a bittersweet moment and it’s been a long journey, but I can’t believe it’s all over now. I have created so many memories and life long friendships throughout the years that I will cherish forever. I’ve given my blood, sweat, and tears to you LITERALLY 😂, but cheer will forever hold a permanent place in my heart.

To every coach I’ve ever had,
I just want to say thank you thank you for everything. Words can’t even describe how much I appreciate all of you! You all have pushed me so much and taught me not only in cheer but prepared me for the real world. Coach Shawdee and Coach Rasheba, I will miss you both dearly and I don’t know what I am going to do without y’all 😂. I love you both, my SORORS❤️🔺!!

To my rookie sisters and cheer sisters,
Mannnnnn we had a good run that’s all I will say iykyk. I love y’all with everything in me and I couldn’t ask for better sisters. The memories and bond we created will be unmatched anywhere else and I’m so thankful A&M Cheer brought us together. The Covid babies are finally done😢 and I’m so proud of us for growing into the women we are today. I can’t wait to see the great things that will come for each of us in the future. Lastly, I say since we out let’s run 517W back one more timeeee!!!!!

Oh to be a Delta girl! A year ago today I was honored to join the BEST sorority there is, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Delta has taught me to be resilient, a trailblazer, and to see it through. I couldn’t ask for a better sisterhood and will forever grateful. One year down and a lifetime to go❤️.

To the chapter so nice they had to name us twice! The true YarDDrunners, thank you for guiding me and helping me grow into the Delta woman I am today. You will always hold a dear place in my ❤️

To my pros, I love y’all to the moon and back!! Thank you for paving the way and giving me the opportunity of a lifetime. There’s no me without y’all 🥹Thank you thank you.

To my 62 T.E.A.R.S, YALL WILL FOREVER HAVE MY HEART!! The journey was not easy and we faced so much adversity, but we saw it through. I love y’all endlessly and appreciate all the support and love given. I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for us🤪. Alabama A&M, the place that I’ve called home for the last 4 years, I want to say thank you. I am greatly thankful for the opportunity to attend this illustrious HBCU, where I not only made memories but also created friendships that I will cherish for a lifetime.

To 3seeds mentoring program, without you, I would not be walking across this stage on Friday. I am forever grateful for the countless opportunities, hours, tutoring sessions, and college tours that were presented to me. I can’t believe one college trip that we almost missed changed my life. Thank you!

I couldn’t be more proud of the woman I am becoming, and four years later, I was able to grow as an educated black woman with the support of my God, family, friends, and everyone who is in my corner. Despite all the challenges that I faced, I just want to say that I made it.
