Last night was AMAZING! 🤩 Event 1 in Oakland was fire 🔥 Let’s Talk About the Problem book 📕 tour had a great night in community with an amazing conversations! I was at The People’s House - Anti Police Terror Project! @antipoliceterrorproject Thank you to my sister The Cat Brooks @realcatbrooks the ED of APTP and Artivist extraordinaire for being in conversation with me. Always awe inspiring to be in her space. My sister the Anita Cameron @adaptanita brought her amazement into the conversation! We did both in person and on ZOOM and it was great! THANK YOU for creating a unique and engaging event! Thank you to all who participated in both ways! It was a great way to celebrate Disability Pride Month! I sent a request into this @thirdeyebag bookstores’ contact us portal and they said yes! Then they created a beautiful event where I was treated like a Queen! My book 📕 is a work of love ❤️ and I’m delighted that others are interested in my work! This husband and wife duo have curated a beautiful space that is staunch in its Blackness! We sold and I signed some books 📚 The venue @y.o.u.thpdx is a community gem! AMAZING Imani! THANK YOU for creating a unique and engaging place for our Youth! I took a bus @flixbus from #Seattle to #Portland and it was marvelous! A Clean, quiet smooth ride! The driver was so@much fun; my luggage was underneath me, the road was clear and the views were amazing 🤩 Our country is beautiful ❤️ This was a great economic way to get me to my next book tour event! Let’s Talk About the Problem book tour is a wonderful experience! I’m back on a Flix bus in a few days and I’m so glad I chose them for that trip! #Blessed #Thankful by @njdc07
