🥇🥇🥈🥈 2026 IBJJF NO-GI PAN CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS!

What a weekend! NJU put on some outstanding performances at the 2026 IBJJF No-Gi Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships, bringing home 2 GOLD and 2 SILVER medals! 🏆

🥇 🥈 Amanda Humphrey
GOLD | Brown Belt Master 1 Light Featherweight
SILVER | Brown Belt Master 1 Open Class

Amanda had a dominant run in her division, submitting both opponents by rear naked choke — her first match in 1:39 and the final in just 37 seconds!

She then stepped into the Open Weight division, where she submitted two more opponents by rear naked choke before facing an opponent two weight classes heavier in the next round. The match finished 0-0, with Amanda narrowly losing by advantage.

5 matches. 4 submissions. 4 rear naked chokes. 🔥

🥇 Hector Mercado
GOLD | Brown Belt Master 2 Medium Heavyweight

Hector moved up from his usual Middleweight division for this tournament and delivered another great performance, submitting his first two opponents by rear naked choke on his way to GOLD! 🥇

🥈 Ahmed Youssef
SILVER | Purple Belt Master 5 Medium Heavyweight

Ahmed put his wrestling on display with some great takedowns in his semifinal victory before battling a tough opponent in the finals and finishing with a well-earned SILVER medal! 🥈

🥋 Crew Schielke – Black Belt Master 4 Heavyweight

Crew won his opening match by advantage after a hard-fought 2-2 battle. Unfortunately, an injury sustained during the victory prevented him from continuing to his next match.

And big props to Zoric and Ken, who stepped onto one of the biggest stages in Jiu-Jitsu and gave 100% against tough competition. 👊

Proud of everyone who represented NJ United MMA this weekend.

Back to work. 🥋🔥

I’m proud to officially promote @mikewcole and @dmatos19 to Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Mike is a great technical representative of Jiu Jitsu. He has a great understanding of the art and an ability to break down techniques in a way that makes the details easy to understand. He’s a great training partner, a successful competitor, and someone who is always continuing to learn and improve.

Dave is one of my old-school students, going all the way back to my days teaching in Hoboken, and has been training Jiu Jitsu since 2008.

Over 18 years, life gives plenty of reasons to stop training. Dave has demonstrated the dedication and toughness to keep coming back, put in the work, and stay committed to the art when many others haven’t.

There are many different paths to Black Belt, and both these guys have earned theirs. 🥋

The journey continues…

👏 REPRESENTING NJ United

Congratulations to Zoric Turanskiy, Crew Schielke, Greg Bimbiras, and Ken Horwitz for representing NJ United MMA on one of Jiu Jitsu’s biggest stages!

Zoric won his opening Black Belt Master 5 Middleweight match with a score in the final five seconds before coming up short against 9-time World Champion Cassio Werneck.

@crewschielke , @xgregoriusx , and Ken battled through tough matches, gained valuable experience, and represented the team with pride. Special thanks to @fullmetalbt for helping coach our competitors!

This trip was about more than medals. We trained, competed, supported one another, shared great food and laughs, and made lasting memories as a team.

Double Bronze at Worlds 🥉🥉

Grateful to bring home bronze in both my weight division and the Open Weight division this year.

The goal is always GOLD, but I’m incredibly thankful to God for giving me the strength and opportunity to step on the mat, compete on the world stage, and leave with two medals.

All glory to God, always. 🙏🏽

To my wife @vilmaryh , my family and friends…thank you for the constant love and support.

And thank you to my professor @jayhayesbjj and all my training partners at @njunitedmma for every round, every push, and all the preparation that went into this.

Not the color I came for, but grateful nonetheless.

We keep going. 🌎🥋 by @njunitedmma

🏆 IBJJF Pan Jiu Jitsu Championships Recap 🏆

This past weekend at one of the toughest and most prestigious tournaments in the world, our team had another great performance. I couldn’t be more proud of this group.

🥇 @amandahumphrey_bjj went out and won GOLD in her first tournament as a Brown Belt (M1 Light Featherweight). She had a bye first round, won her next match 3-0, and then submitted her opponent in the finals. Once again, Amanda didn’t give up a single point all day, about as dominant as it gets.

🥈 @hectormercadojr had an incredible run to Silver in the M2 Brown Belt Middleweight division. He finished his first match with an RNC, then pulled off a wild comeback kneebar with 8 seconds left in his quarterfinal match. He followed that with another RNC in the semis. In the finals, he lost by a single advantage in a 2-2 match against a very tough opponent.

🥉 Justin took Bronze in the Purple Belt M3 Heavyweight division. Tough quarterfinal win and came up short in the semis against the eventual silver medalist.

🥉 Ken also earned Bronze in the Blue Belt M5 Ultra Heavyweight division. Won his quarterfinal by ref decision and lost in the semis to the eventual champion. Big respect to Ken for stepping up and competing at this level just weeks after getting his Blue Belt.

Super proud of everyone who stepped on the mat. Represent @tacteamjiujitsu

IBJJF Pan Ams Silver 🥈

3 submissions to the finals.
A finish with 9 seconds left.
Lost the final by 1 advantage.

Not the result I wanted but I’m happy with my performance and feel blessed to go out and compete.

This journey stretched me more than most people will ever see…
and still, God is good. Always.

Grateful for my team @njunitedmma couldn’t do this without the people who push me, sharpen me, and stand with me every day.

Grateful for the growth. Win or Lose, never give up. Back to work. 🙏🏻 by @njunitedmma
