OULTON PARK 🏁 A proper good day out at Oulton Park last week with a great group of people, plenty of track time and some very mixed conditions! James’ track GTI finally got the chance to get out there and properly stretch its legs 👊 Pedro’s Caddy surprised everyone and did really well out there, especially once the rain came down 🌧️😂 NJW unfortunately had a few issues with the car which cut the day short, but that’s motorsport — it’ll be back stronger and ready for the next one 💪 The CMD track car got plenty of laps in too, giving us more seat time and a better idea of where we want to take the setup next. Most importantly, it was a proper good day with a great bunch of people. RSR completed ✔️ Unfortunately when I bought this car the head was already taken off due to issues, turned out to be a slight bent rod, I initially bought it to break, but thought I’ll fix it. 47K RS3 engine supplied by redditch vehicle recycling from a cat b breaker with warranty🫡 Massive thanks to Manchip for reaching out sorting the engine originally, Everything had to be swapped over from the original engine as we got it bare, everything back exactly where it should be / routed correctly. All new seals / gaskets & nuts, what needed to be replaced we replaced it. MPI / DI injectors tested & cleaned by PIP Automotive Ltd Everything we needed was oem from TPS While Inlet was off we had the engine a walnut blasted Something different for us, we only deal with EA113 / EA888, getting to grips with a RS3 engine is nice knowledge to have RSR completed ✅ by @njw_breakers
