Nká — Craft as an identity, Legacy in every detail.
Let us create 🪵 @nkaoriginals

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This didn’t happen overnight

It’s the result of discipline patience and a deep respect for the craft. Every detail you see was built with intention from the textures to the finishes to how each piece actually works in real life

Our roots are in the East and that influence runs through everything. Not as decoration but as identity. Culture is not something we reference. It is something we build from and push forward

What you’re looking at is beauty you can feel. Clean lines strong presence and quality that holds up over time. Design that is not just for show but for living

This is the work
This is the process
This is legacy taking shape

The world is watching

Step in and experience what is coming. A new standard for African furniture design is being built right here

Crafted in wood. Framed in marble.

Nchèta — remembrance.

There is a reason wood has survived generations of architecture, culture and storytelling. It carries memory. It ages with dignity. It outlives trends.

For Nchèta, we wanted every surface to feel like it belonged to a story already in motion. The warmth of the wood tones, the calm restraint in the palette, the quiet strength of the stone finishes and the handcrafted detailing were all carefully layered to create a home that feels inherited rather than manufactured.

The cabinetry was not designed to simply occupy space. It was built to frame living. The lighting was introduced softly to allow texture, shadow and materiality speak naturally throughout the interior.

Nothing here screams for attention. And that is the beauty of it.

This project is a reminder that true craftsmanship is not loud. It is felt in the grain of the wood, in the balance of proportion and in the way a space continues to stay with you long after you have left it.

The Mahogany chapel pew, now moving into its finishing stages. Sanded, treated, and sprayed — with more refinement still to come.

Today, we built the first form of this chapel pew in Mahogany.

It’s still rough — no sanding, no finishing yet — but the structure is beginning to tell us what the finished piece could be.

Next comes the refinement.

Material, proportion, texture, colour and function — each considered, each playing its part.

The result is a TV unit that doesn’t just occupy the wall, but gives the entire space a sense of character.
